Since relocating to New York City, Ms. Farthing has made her off- and off-off Broadway stage debuts and founded Playsmiths, a new workshop dedicated to developing the next generation of American plays. 


She has also had two of her short plays read, I Know What I Like, a comedy about vocabulary, and Exercise in Ethics, a serious work about criminality.  


As a film actor, Ms. Farthing appears in the title role of Belinda In The Water, written and directed by Christine Roum, for which she was honored with Best Actress trophies from both the Badalona (Spain) and Cork County (Ireland) Film Festivals.

As a stand-up & improvisational comedian, Ms. Farthing has graced the stage at The Comedy Store, The Ice House, The Laugh Factory, The Rose Cafe, ad infinitum. For eight years she hosted the West Hollywood Halloween Carnavál on Santa Monica Boulevard, in front of crowds in excess of 250,000.
